George Stacpoole

George has been in business for over 45 years, his first taste of antiquing was at the age of 5 with his aunt, since then it has been a passion of his which he has made a living from. His first shop was in Cecil Street in Limerick which he opened in the 1960's which he kept till 1990. He purchased a shop in Adare in 1979 where he and Michelina opened the shop showing Michelina's Fashions and George's antiques with room running out in 1996 they built on an extension which you will be able to see today.

George is the President of the Irish Antique Dealers Association and is also on the Board of the Hunt Museum which he has chaired previously as well as a very active member of the Friends of the Hunt Museum.

Sebastian Stacpoole

Sebastian has joined the family business since 1994. In 2006 he started to do picture framing to add another dimension to the business and then branched out doing photographic printing and print making. He also provides a picture hanging consultancy as well as working with numerous decorators. He has worked on many projects with well know bespoke sign writer Tom Collins providing him with many framing solutions over the years. Sebastian will help to advice the customer on the best way to frame their picture knowing they will be happy with the end product at a reasonable price.

Michelina Stacpoole

Michelina has been designing and manufacturing knitwear since the mid 60's, firstly under the label Hollypark, then under her own name since the early 70's. She gained International reputation selling to the UK, America and Japan. Designing clothes is a passion as she continues today creating two collections a year and sells out of her shop in Adare. Often clients remark how timeless her clothes are as her designs stands the test of time. She still manufactures the clothes to the tailored need of the client..
